![]() Be sure to wiggle or hide your cupola though, since it is relatively weak compared to the rest of the turret armor and most tier 10s can penetrate it with standard ammo. With its -8 degrees of gun depression, hull-down tactics significantly bolster the effectiveness of the armor. The VZ has a decent P/W ratio and top speed (50km stock, can be boosted by field mods and equipment). Much like the T95/FV4201, it can be played in both heavy lanes and medium flanks. Your gun also reloads faster, aims better and You get 5 more shells compared to the Object 277, allowing for slightly more freedom with your loadout, the 277 however has the advantage of HEAT rounds, which not only have much higher penetration than your APCR rounds, their not much slower either. Using the stock gun makes you similar to an Object 277, that tank has slightly better mobility and trademark soviet side armour, meanwhile the VZ 55's side armour is mostly flat, however there is a point near the bottom of the tank where the armour angles downwards, much like on an American tank, meaning shots aimed too low will ricochet off this 55mm angled plate or even miss the tank entirely, this angled plate also extends partway behind your front roller, a shot that tracks you may not damage you if poorly aimed, a trick the 277 cannot replicate. Both 1 and 2 shot guns are good in their own right, as the 2-shot gun enables for a rapid-damaging support role, while the single shot gun gives better "dpm fight" capabilities. The VZ 55 features high alpha damage, incredibly quick clip and intraclip reload, great gun handling, great mobility, decent gun depression and reasonable armor. More or less an example of a jack-of-all-trades. Higher than usual penetration dropoff at range Actually weak weakspots (sizable lower plate and commander's cupola) +Ludicrously fast reload and intraclip with great gun handling ![]() +Very good mobility and decent gun depression ![]()
